Sunday Gals...

Now I am sitting in front of the fan drying my hair before going to bed... Had a late day with the gals today as I was so tired that I slept flat till this afternoon...

Met JQ and HX at 313 as we were supposed to go to Oriole coffee to chill out but becos I was damn late.. ;p JQ has shopped the whole 313! So we went on to OC as JQ wanted to satisfy her tongue with some Cold stone Ice cream... And as expected, the Q was superbly long!! We went Gelare at level 4 instead... The ice cream was too sweet for our tongues...And we didnt really enjoy it... But it remains us of Haji lane's Plung Ice cream! Cheap and good and nice!

I was superbly amusing but the toilets at OC as they had this kool device to wash your butt and even dry your butt after u do your "stuff"... :O

We found many chill out places at OC with little or no people that we can actually dwell our lazy butts along orchard road..

Went triple one for dinner and we settled at this Italian restaurant which Jq recommended... The manager pissed us off at first with her rude service but we were pacified by the good food they served after that...

Of cos, that comes with "sparkling huge eyes" bills *Cha Ching*... It's probably gotta be once a year kind of meal... O_O

A fold over pizza... It contains ham, cheese, olives, herbs, etc... The name of the dishes here are too chim to remember.. ;)


Chicken with spinach cream sauce... Superb dish esp the sauce!


Potato dumplings with cream mushroom and cheese... This is a very unique dish! The potato dumplings are extremely chewy...


A peek inside the potato dumpling... Its like a thin layer of flour outside ( something like those Hakka 算盘子) and the inside is mash potato...

Great but exhausting day..

Today its our first CU2 ACTA course... My colleagues and myself attended the course like zombies as we had a Department BBQ nite on Friday at our office area, Bugis...

The course outline was supposed to be very interesting... I suppose we were too exhausted after the late nite games and everything that we basically went there to warm the seats only since its a full day 9 hour course!

Went NCC for their Gen Rev service with TNL after the course... I was so tired that I fall asleep during service... I was enjoying my sleep as people around me were laughing at the Pastor's jokes... Manz... How was I able to do that?!

But still~ I did took back some teaching in mind at the starting and ending part of the sermon... Then went Gombak to eat our 24 hours roti prata and a cup of teh tarik...

Loving to dwell in the goodness of God...

Presentation

I am having a bad headache now... Today is our last lesson for the Better English pronunciation programme and as said in my last post, we are supposed to do 2 presentations for the panel... So i presented about my hamster for the social topic and one of my job role in my coy...

The presentation was a mess as I thought it was messy and was badly organised.. And the surprise thing was that, the panel of trainers said that I was one of the top scorer..

I was told that I have high pitch voice that would garner the attention of my audience which i was surprise too.. I kinda dislike my high pitch voice as I felt that it was rather irritating...

Today, God shown me on a talent I never knew and how I can use it wisely. :)



My ACTA course seem to be a right choice!

Back to the classroom...

Finished the first unit for my ACTA course last Saturday... And i am starting my unit 2 coming Saturday... My colleagues and myself were rather stressed over the short interview and written assignment... Though it was a open book test but putting me back into a classroom enviroment for studies again... I'm still kinda nervous about it...

My company has also arranged for a English pronunciation class for us. And Thursday, we will have to do 2 short presentations... Back to the classroom all over again!

There's a mixed feeling in me... Kinda glad to go back to the classroom but yet I am still stressed over assignments and keeping myself awake in class after lunch time...

Watched this many times but it still makes me laugh...

Not a very pleasant week...

I started the week with many crop ups... And my heart is not very peaceful... I do not know what is troubling me or probably its the crop ups this few days that cause me to be a little impatient and frustrated...

My buddy and myself who are stationed in Jurong moved to Bugis together with part of my team... We have 7 to 8 people squeezing in half a room and it was not a very conducive place to work in... Of cos, with more people in a very small area.. I tend to kick and trip over files, chairs, cables and .... and I was really frustrated...

Praying for peace....

Itchy itchy scatchy scatchy...

Ahhh.... I think I got hives!!!

Hives are like rashes/mini bumps on your body and it itches like poop... It started from my neck, then thighs then hands... Now my body is like all full of rashes... Guess I ate something I am allergic to...

The first time I got hives was when I ate the K burger from Macdonalds... this is the 2nd time I guess... In case you don't know how it looks like... I got a pictures from the internet... And my thighs look exactly( or worst) like that...


Its like loads of mosquito bites gathering on your skin...

Yet, I dared not to scatch too hard as i am afraid left scars on my beautiful and silky smooth skin... ;P Bought a tube of Egocort cream from guardian which is the only cream they provide for rashed skin..

Read a bit on hives on the internet and it is stated to be harmless and last only for a few hours BUT it will come back again... Yes, tonight is the 2nd night of this hives and this morning it was fine! so I cannot get an MC from the doctor....

Gotta go... tapping on my itchy points now... :(

Arab Street... Here we come...

Just reach home after meeting JQ... We went swimming and headed to Arab Street for dinner... The dinner was quite a pleasant one... JQ was quite distracted by some sheesha-ers near our tables... It smells like strawberry and other fruits... I tout of giving it a shot one day...

Me ordered some Iranian chicken with Iranian rice which I tout it was kinda unique... JQ ordered safe food and it was tasty as well... However, i think she ate like 1 piece and fish and she was full already...

I enjoyed tasting food of a different culture especially food from the middle east... It just brings another type of special-ness to my tongue.. Hummus is one of my favourite!!!

Let's head Little India next time round... ;) The food and shops there were great and the culture mix is superb! Though i do not enjoy exposing myself to the smell there but I will tahan it to enjoy the culture... LOL..

My heart beats...

Everytime I think about what God has done in my life... There's this hidden happiness and peace that would always brings a smile to my face... I believe I am truely touched by his love... Though many times, I ran away to do the things I want to do and like to do... God still leads me back into his love and goodness...

Indeed his yoke is light...

Can you believe it... My mum is nagging away at a time like this... 11 in the night!

Manz... That was some kind of noise pollution at home... That's the whole purpose of creating the cozy corner at home...

Now she is sitting in the cozy corner watching her Taiwan TV drama and nagging away... No wonder women are multi-tasking!!!
