tied up week!

This week is a superbly busy week.. after the 3 days mc last week, my emails and cases wetepiling.. plus some ad give duties given by boss.. Anyways, yesterday went for eye check up and Doctor says it takes another 2 weeks for my eyes to get fully recovered.. looking forward to beautiful eyes.. currently,am wearing sunglasses to work daily.. some of my colleagues tout I wanna act cool..

5th day of lasik..

This is my eye for the 5th day.. my left eye seem to be as bruise.. haiz.. my eyes is feeling quite dry and doctor ask me to drip eye drops every 1/2 an hour..

Lasik...

I was on MC for 3 days.. Don't worry, I am not sick, just that I just went for Lasik... I though for a long time and finally went for it!

So how's my eye now or how's the lasik experience? It was hmmm.. Kinda... I don't really know how to explain.. Of cos, I am scare as risk is involve, esp my eyes...

I paid like 3k for the op.. I know its kinda expensive, of cos, for my eyes I rather pay slightly more for the safety..

So what are the steps? 1st-ly, they did a full eye check up for me to ensure that I am a suitable candidate for lasik.. Once done, the next appointment is made for the op...

They did the check once again and bring me to a room to cleanse my eyes, my hands and gown me with the operation clothings... They applied something sticky around my eye for the suction process.. The suction process takes 30secs as they use strong suction to force the eye open for 30sec each and i suppose they cut the cornea of the eye...

Then they bring me to a 2nd room to wait for a few mins for air bubbles to form under the flap before the apply laser to correct the degree of the eye. They put anesthesia eye drops to my eyes once again so that i won't feel a thing. I can see the doctor opening the flap of my cornea and apply laser to it... Smelled something burnt which i was told... It takes another 15 secs and its done...

However, probably i had sensitive eyes, therefore, i kept tearing and had difficulty opening my eyes... I had a bad headache and had difficulties going home.. Damn.. I felt so helpless on the first day and vomitted at night cos of the headache...

On the 2nd day, its getting better.. However, my eyes were bruised... which the doc says that its quite common..

Welcome back to Taiwan Part 2

Being busy with many programs lining up in my schedule, I have kinda neglected my bloggy... Okay, so this is part 2 of Taiwan post... Enjoy! Being in Taiwan, not only being able to enjoy the great weather, we can also dress up without having strange glaces from the public... I guess Taiwanese are people who dare to dress up... See what we are wearing! We are at Wu fen Pu... Raohe Night Market.. One of our fav! deboned chicken thigh meat rolled into a sausage.. My fav in Night market.. Spring Onion pancake.. we have it almost everyday for breakfast... We always ordered the bacon and egg ones... TNL always had pork floss.. Railway to Hualien.. Best "chua bing" in Hualien.. Highly recommended by the cabby who drove us around... Red bean cum Yam! Best Spring Onion pancake in Hualien or infact the whole Taiwan! It's really different from the ones in Taipei and if you google around.. Its the same stall in Hualien that every blogger recommend! Guess what's inside? Its a half cooked runny egg! If you dont eat this, you will " Zhong shen yi han!" indeed! I am missing it already.. Beach in Huelien.. Heard that last year a Korea Tourist died cos of the strong turbulence under this ocean.. Cafe at the highest point in Cingjing.. They had this tea with peach honey... Superb but a little sweet... To be continued...

Back from Taiwan!

Back last weekend and getting back to the office is a little tough for me.. Damn! I missed Taiwan..

Booked a Taxi to drive us around Hualien for the magnificient view..
