Dinner at Si Chuan Tou fu Restaurant

Finally, we went to Si Chuan Tou Fu Restuarant today at TOP of UOB Plaza... I saw reviews from the internet that the food is great but it's quite expensive... The food is great if it is in a coffee shop but in that posh restuarant... Not really that stunting... Luckily I got the $100 voucher from boss...

It's our first time there, and we were like fools walking in and out of the lift... We took 3 lifts to reach our destination!!! The first lift is 1st floor to 2nd floor then 2nd floor to 38th floor THEN finally 38th to 60th floor... Man... My dad was complaning as he walks...

The appetiser.. actually, there is a spicy si chuan cai but we finish it up before i can take any pics..

This cup of tea is made by.....

This master here... He really got great skill to pour the tea with his stunts... I saw some Ang mos were amuse and kept laughing non stop...

The food took like eternity to reach us... So I started taking pictures with my lousy camera...

Mum and sis...

My dad.. He used to be a handsome young chap...

Moi...

Ok.. the food really take a long time to reach us plus wat we ordered on the menu dun seem to be wat we get...

here goes the food...

Their fish maw soup... It is EXCELLENT!!! Best dish of that nite...

This is what disappoint us... It dun really taste bad but we expect the dish to live up to the beautiful name they gave it... It turn out to be sliced pock with bean sprout... -_-"

I forgeot wat they named it but below those chicken are a bunch of brocolli.. They should have stated it in the menue...

Claypot prawn...Passable...

This is fried "mee sua" which I think its bad.. worst than those wedding noodles... It's super oily... Wonder if the chef dropped the whole bottle of oil in when he cooks it...

Us...

Dessert time...

Pumkins pancake... but its comes in cute pumkin shape... Kool... Taste not bad...

Black glutinous rice with yam ice cream... Looks disgusting becos I'm half way thru it...

Mango pudding... Soso only.. Not worth $8 dollars... though they have this dry ice outside to make it look kool...

Overall, it's passable but not fantastic.. It cost around $160 for the meal but with the voucher I pay only $60!!! Thank God!
