Cooking helps to release your stress..

Yes indeed, it seem like the process of cooking delicious food helps you to destress and best of all, you can eat afterwards.

Lately, I have been preparing ramen egg which is flavorful and gummy on the inside. Its a perfect dish to go with plain rice and allows you to keep for days.

The next trend in my home now is to prepare garlic bread. Garlic bread itself have its own wonders and I hate to eat sweet garlic bread. Previously, I bought some freshly prepared garlic bread from those coffeeshop for 1.80 for 2 slices and it was sweet! Complete disaster!

So I have prepared some garlic spread and safe keep in my fridge. To me, it was amazing! The fragrance of garlic and with aromatic herbs and freshly grounded black pepper does wonders.

I have documented the process down and you folks can try my version too. ( I got it from the net and improvised accordingly)

This is my 2nd batch of garlic spread so u can see the residue from my first batch. ;)

Step 1 is to apply olive oil to the cloves of garlic ( I chop open one end of the garlic).

Step 2 bake/roast it ( look at the amazing roasted colour! That's where the magic lies

Step 3: Use a folk to take the cloves out ( its not difficult at this point because the garlic is very soft now)
Step 4: Put cool down garlic gloves + butter ( slightly soften) + herbs ( best if you choose fresh ones from the supermarket- Basil, parsley. ) But I choose the grounded ones from the supermarket ( still works fine) + Freshly grounded black pepper + some salt ( if you prefer).
I added a little salt to taste even I had salted butter to start with. As mentioned, I love salted garlic bread!

Step 5: Squash the garlic gloves and mixed with the butter well.

Step 6: It should look like a nice paste and Tadah! You got your magical garlic spread.
