Working life in Singapore...

Today i had lunch at Shun Fu.. A food centre near my office.. I am getting tired of the food in Bishan.. Luckily sometimes we travel further to eat... Can someone intro me nice food in the central area?

Have you ever wonder why working life in Singapore is so tough? You work more than you should earn most of the time.. It is lucky if you found a job that you get paid right.. So sometimes planning for some outings with friends are just great!!

Looking into my calendar now and i am getting excited already.. I got so many plans coming up.. Who's Birthday... Who's gathering... Christmas Party... Bla bla bla...

Today i spent my day special... Why?

In the afternoon, we realise we got no enuff stickers to print our shipping labels so we had to go out and buy.. Of cos, we went Junction 8..

We do the bank thingy, then to popular to buy the labels.. Then happen to remember that we need some cardboard to paste on our office windows due to the sun always shines in after 3pm. This is stupid! My office does have curtains... But they bought it from Ikea previously so i believe the quality not so good and sunlight still can penatrate into the office..

Finally, its time to pay up... To our surprise.... Those cardboard and labels could cost us SGD49+ with discount some more??!! Anyway, not my money, company's..

Then we went back to Ray's van to put the stuff and continued to settle out grocies there... We bought so many things.. Toilet paper, Kitchen paper, tupperware, cornflakes, Musli bars, Chocolates, biscuits, ceral packet, 3 in 1 Tea susu...

As Ray is pregnent, I carried the toilet paper, kitchen paper and other stuff.. So pai say... Others might be thinking that this siao wanna " lao sai" buy until so many toilet papers... Some more today i so Office lady...

"Ta Bao" some finger food back to office also... Then we realise that we spend more than an hour there.. Jia lat liao.. Came back and saw boss car.. They already came back after meeting their client.. So we acted as if nothing and went back to work quietly...

Actually, sometimes go jalan jalan during office hours is quite fun.. :p

Later meeting up the Christmas committee people to finalise our plans... So excited... So look forward for the party!!!

Went chill out with Wendy @ The Arena on friday.. First time been there.. Impression okok.. The songs all sang by black... I am not racist lah.. Just so strange from a sudden change of place.. From so thailand to so blacks.. A bit like black eye pea.. and very R & B..

Went Wendy's place before going down so as per normal.. We took a picture before leaving the house..

So around 10 plus we arrived in The Arena.. we ordered two of these...


And we enjoyed the music.. Kool.. it was about a month ago since we meet up like that... And i love it..

Then, we got to know some new friends there too.. They were saying that Wendy look like Korea Babe.. Haha.. Yes.. Our " Gu dian mei nu " lei... That's great when people guess that you look younger than your age... But... That always doesn't happen to me... Why...Whyyyyyy.... Any ways... I am secure enuff lah.. Doesn't matter...

They were friendly and we chatted and dance till the club close... Actually never though of staying so late.. But time passes quite quickly.. I was rather shock that they still wanted to go dragonfly... Wah say... Youth is power and energy man!!! But Wendy and i were half dead and so we decided to go back.. Calvin, our new friend was so kind to send us home.. Thanks for the ride home, Calvin! So by the time he went back the skies are bright...

20 Oct, Saterday..

Didn't hang over becos i didn't drink much... Went to help out at stall as per normal... But i was so so tired due to the late night so slept for two hours after that...

Woke out and was so rotting at home... Was online and saw Billy.. So we decided to go Mustafa for late nite shopping and Roti Prata.. Oh Jane.. You miss out...

Kool... My second time there.. Saw these water jet machine that massage your body... $10 for 10 minutes.. Ok lah.. Quite fun to try.. But its located in the middle of the shopping centre.. and any one who passes can see you.. Diao.." I then dare not to try lor...

Went to eat roti prata at Thomson area... 24 hrs de.. Their crispy roti prata was good... Wah... Again another late nite.. Saw my father opening his stall when i came home again...

21 Oct, Sunday.

Went church in the morning.. kool lesson learnt!! Lust! Caution! Haha.. realise that its one of the movie showing now.. Pastor Jeff is so relevant... I think its applicable for all young adults.. Haha..

Was suppose to meet Cecil to dicuss about the Christmas Party but he was sick.. So have a good rest at home ba.. See when we can dicuss again..

After that we* Weilin, Liling, Gerald, XH, WanRong, myself* went shopping at PS, Liling joined too.. Just get to know her today.. Friendly and england powerful girl... Didn't manage take a picture of her becos i am busy taking for myself... Haha....

CG @ SMU

Yesterday we had our CG inside SMU. I almost forgot about our CG until JQ message me asking me wat time I am reaching... Gosh... I am really getting old..

Saw Cheng Cheng on the way and had dinner with him and JQ @ Long John Silver inside PS. It was a long time since i saw him..

After that we gathered at SMU basement. The rest had their dinner there and we chatted for a while when suddenly i believe the students were having their drum CCA at the same location as us.. So to avoid the noise.. We moved...

To avoid the noise we moved to outside "Li Ka Shing Library"



Thought it was a great place but NO.. This shall be our first and last time there..

1) The place is hot.

2) I am all sticky and itcy.

3) My concentration span is zero when there are so many minipedes around!!!


There were uncountables of these.. If you think these are bad.. KK found a Mother of the Mothers minipedes. Gross........... i didn't manage to get a shot of it..

And the most amazing thing is... Xin hua!!!!!

From the outside, she's cute, sweet and soft spoken... But actually " Ren Bu Ke Mao Xiang". I believe she's the only girl in our unit who dare to play with them like pets... Its amazing that she can play like how XMM and I play with bert and Erine!!!

She touch them, pet them, let them crawl onto her fingers and flung them when they crawl over!!!! You should have watched the way she flung the mini "worms" behind her...

I still need time to digest it...

Green Bird

Last week a green bird flew into my house..


See the birdie is enjoying the piture...

Unfortuantly, it died the next day after we release it to open at our doorstep..

We should have kept it..

My sister saw the birdie's small dead body and started singing,

This shop, " Cold Rock" is situated in Holland Village..

And you can always see people quening at any time after hours.. The quene just doesn't stop... So u see... you can imagine how good the ice cream is..

Then, you can choose any toppings to go with it..

Finally they will mash every thing up together on a icy panel * so your ice cream won't melt*

I brought this packet noodles from Thailand in my last trip to Krabi.. It taste similar with the noodles in Singapore just that their noodles are Wheat noodles.. So call " Healthier choice".....

2 weeks ago, my father went to a organic stall in my market to buy some Chocolate and "jelly" back... Both are Organic items so they are extremely pricey... But the choclate taste the same to me...

Yesterday met Jq, Xmm, Cecil and Clarence to talk about our Christmas Party on the 15 Dec 07, Saterday. We went to look for the location and found that it is a great place for our party..



The party is an interesting and fun one.. Location all thanks to God that have blessed us with a great place, great food and great offer...

The place is not very big but it can contain around 35-40 people.. And from the look from yesterday's bill.. Its only 17 bucks.. Can say that its rather reasonable..


Grill chicken pizza, Chicken Invasion * Cecil ordered this due to the cute name given to this dish* and Chocolate cake @ only $17....

That place still got a piano that we can actually use for our party.. So good.. So look forward for great songs.. I shall keep all of you in suspense of who shall be playing or singing... Hehe...

Today, my colleauges have been taking turns to cut their nails in office.. Haha..


Finally!! I remembered to bring my chocolates to office..
Had been munching on them now and then.. Perhaps its not a good idea to bring ALL to office...

Actually God have been speaking to me everyday.. Everyday i learn new things from God and more about myself..

Today, this simple equation is what i learnt..

I used to think that when i focus more of this world, I will definetly get what i want ultimately but i will lose the blessings from God.. And becos of this dumb perspective.. I fear God.. Of cos.. This turns out to be NOT true...So don't be stupid like I once used to be..

Today is really blue... Not much to do.. Didn't see any potential orders either.. Now is 1.52pm and its raining cats and dogs outside.. * Amber, pls keep your cookie well*

Nothing much so here i am here blogging and listening to my Jay singing..

I forgot to bring my chocolate to work today... Haiz.. I bought many different kinds of chocolate to accompany me while i am bored or when "my mouth is itchy"..

At the same time i am too lazy to upload my photos from my camera.. So no pictures for the past days...

Was thinking a lot lately.. Was making some major decisions that can influence my life BIG time.. I feel some discomfort in certains i do and have thought of making one decision.. But this decision is a BIG one.. I dare not to risk...

1) It may cause me initially to feel in my comfort zone but leads to major consequences in the later stage...

I remembered this kind of problem always occur in my life.. And in previous times.. I pass the test... Or didn't i?? I always face problems initially but ultimately I did overcome it...

Then why am i facing this problem again?? i believe that this issue is not totally solve in my heart yet so it will creep out at the right time to scare me once again..

It is hard.. Or rather very hard.. So at this moment just leave me alone to sort out myself..

This word suddenly come to my mind.. "Obedience is better than sacrifice"

Obedience means doing things with a willing heart even though you don feel like doing it...
*** You don't feel like doing it then how to do it with a willing heart....****

The problem is ...... I am not with that type of character and asking me to behave like one is........... SUPER HARD...

i remembered decision in my life that i make mistakes..

1) Choosing My secondary school.
2) Choosing the wrong course.
3) Choosing to disobey God in certain areas.. " Not to be disclosed"

But thinking back.. If i haven made those mistakes.. i wouldn't learn... And I can say i did not regret.. Even thought i know i made a wrong decision but i did not regret.. I was pondering if God make those incident to happen... He knew that was the best for me but i can't see at the point of time...

At this point.. I admitted that i have already made a wrong move but for now... i can only see how God's going bring it along...

But i could say.. If i will to go back in time.. I will still choose this path...

1) I am a very timid person.
2) I am a very quiet indiviual.
3) I love myself quite a bit.
4) I hated the above areas of myself.

People who read this may disagree.. But to be frank... This is me..

I always wanted to do things that is exciting but ultimately i didn't proceed becos i am timid..
I may be loud on the outside at times..But I used to stone while others are talking... * very rude right* - sorry my mind always wander to LaLa land...
I love to spend money on clothes and shoes on myself becos i love myself a little too much...

so this is the ugly fairy...

Its raining again... Luckily today is friday, can dress down.. But today i dress super down, i wore a SP T- shirt and a shorts to work.. Anyway who bothers..

Today is also Weilin's Birthday.. I am so happy because she is now older.. Hahahaha *Evil Grin* Just Joking.. Here, me wishing you a very "Happy 23rd Birthday!".. And May this new year ahead will be a greater and fruitful one..

Recently after my Thailand trip i realise that God had been blessing me.. Recently I had a new order and also many people on MSN had been coming in to ask me for RFQ.. And this means..........

Had our lunch today at Junction 8 Mac, but I take no fancy in any of those fried food so i "tao bao" the Shilin Mee Sua with extra Vinegar and " pang cai" into Mac.. After which i ate a Mcflurry Oreo with extra oreo for my finishing touch..
My gluttony actions cause me to look like Ray, my colleauge who's pregnent..

Yesterday, i went home early due to my flu.. Went home looking for my daughter but she is no where to be seen.. I called my sister Hp but she didn't pick up.. I knew she has something to do with it.. I open the washing machine, i was so afraid that my mother took it to wash... But no... I rested and walk around the house hoping to find her.. Around 7 plus 8, my mum got home..

Me: Mummy! have you seen my "kia" * kia meaning child in dialet*

Mum: Must be you sister lah..

Me: But she's working so she didn't pick up..

Mum: No lah, she didn't work today..

I tried calling her Hp again hoping she will pick up.. Finally, she picked up..

Me: where you now?

Sis: Outside

Me: Did you take her, my "kia"??

Sis: Not me lah! i left it in Mummy's room.. You go and find..

At this instant i knew it must be my mother.. I went into her room asking her to hand over my daughter.. She was lying flat in bed with her hands lifted up high as she just done her medicure..

Me: Where is it? I go and take myself..

Mum: (Evilish Smile) You haven transfer me $400 bucks last month..

Me: U return me my "kia" first..

Mum: Where is my $400 bucks?? How long must you take to give me that money?? You give me first then i return you...

You see.. Mothers can be evil too.. She tout that she hide my daughter so that she can blackmail me for the money... And so..

I dig in every corner of the room and found my precious in her bag.. Goodness.. I miss her so much.. We did our reunion thingy and left the room ignoring my mum...

At first she still acted like as if she didn't know my daughter's missing.. And ask could it be my sister with her "pondering" look...

HAHA WHO ASK YOU WANNA USE THESE KIND OF UNDERHAND MEANS TO ME...

So today i buried my daughter under my pillows incase my mother came up with any crazy idea again...

Bi Bitt Bitter..

Talking about bearing bitterness.. I have tend to do that recently.. and for a moment i was thinking could it be the bitterness in my heart could have cause my head to ache so much... Hmmm.... Could be a possibility...

How can i love someone who is SO hypocritical.. I read many blogs, friendsters and done quiz.. And many had stated that they hated hypocrites.. I was praying to God for a open heart..

Within these few days, God showed me I am no better.. He showed me that sometimes people do not have a choice and had to do certain things.. He put me in that situation so that i can complain no more but to understand and forgive people who did certain things to me.. Because everyone does mistakes and need a second chance..

Krabi Trip ( Day 4 and 5)

Actually i am typing this post a second time. Something happen to my computer and the window close by itself so my half written journey say, " bye bye" to me after i click the," End now" button.

Updates on my fourth and most exciting day of the Trip!!!

The 4th day in Krabi, 30 sep 07'
30 Sep 07, we waited at the hotel lobby at 9am as we have signed up a day tour to visit the islands around Krabi.. As usual, the tour came swee swee on time to fetch us to the departure beach.. Reach the beach in only 10 mins but we were kept waited for 1/2 an hour as some of the people from another van have not arrived yet..

Soon all arrived, and we make our move to the speedboat.. Our tour group consists of a Portsland family, some Malaysians and we, the Singaporeans.


The Malaysians brought some coconuts amd some drink on board...


Sitting on the speedboat, anticipating to move off..

Finally... We set off... Here we go....


We took 40mins to arrive at the first island.. The BAMBOO ISLAND..


We stayed at the Bamboo Island for "a little" snokelling.. And i meant "a little" which last for only 30 mins.. We were provided a snokelling goggles that look like that...



We continued and stop in another island.. I forget the name.. we travelled to around 6 islands.. But we did not drop in every island..

We stopped near the coast and started doing snokelling... It was Kool!!! I see fishes swiming around me.. At a moment, I was imagining to be the little mermaid.., " Under The Sea... Under The Sea.... Laa laa laaa"

In another island.. These people are looking for birdnest... They are real birdnest.. Tout of getting a few back but the tour guide won't allow us to go down even thought we tried using a coconut to bride her.. Haiz..

We were entering to the most promising island.. The Maya beach!! The beach where Leonardo shot his movie, " The Beach" in 2000..

But the view is still not bad...

Then, it started to rain... Suay... We ran into the speedboat and continued our journey.. A bad choice.. A bad idea..

Soon, it was raining so heavily that we can't see any island or things around us.. We got lost in the middle of the sea.. The portsland lady started to felt sea sick and started to vomit out to the sea.. A wise choice indeed.. Then followed by one of the Malaysia guy.. Haha.. I could say that Singaporens are a better choice to be a sailors..Becos non of us vomitted!!! Haha.. Alrights... we were all seriously drenched thru out.. From head to toe..

Finally the rain has cooled down due to my prayers... Haha.. We spotted the island and started with full speed... All of us was like, " Yahooooo..." and waiting for our lunch to be served..

Phi Phi Island... We had our lunch there.. The food... Um... ok only.. No comments..


We continued our ride to the open seas even its still drizzling... And we were encourged to snokel again!!! All of us lost our mood due to the rain.. And only the Ang mos and one of my friend went for snokelling..

After that, we head back to Ao nang.. At that instant.. Our only desire is to be back in our cosy hotel rooms...

But we heard that we need another 40 mins to arrive the beach.. OMG!!! We all became quiet and silent on the journey back as the rain hit hard on our faces due to the speed of the boat..

We arrive wet at the beach and was drove to the hotel.. We bathe and took a nap before going for dinner...

After dinner i bought this potato chip in the supermarket as i don't see this favor selling in Singapore..

It cost me 60 Bhatt.. around SGD 2.70.. Very expensive i find.. Don't worth the price..

Then i bought this Sunglass @ 250 bhatt..


Now we need a model...

The last Day in Krabi, 1 Oct 07'
Our flight back to Singapore is at 7.20pm so we book a cab ready to drive us to Airport at 4pm.. we slept till 12 plus since its the last day and have our breakfast outside as, " BIRD OF THE PARADISE" close after 10am..

My breakfast.. Cheese, ham , prawns and herd cream wrapped in egg omeleete.. Yummy.. Nice but very "ni" after eating too much...
